Environment (Lighting conditions)
- Avoid contrast shadows
- Avoid strong sun and reflections (exterior)
- Diffuse light and no flash (interior)
Equipment
- Any standard camera can be used to suplement dataset
- Better camera = better results
- Ideally use a fixed lens
- Use a tripod and a clicker when reasonable
- JPEG format only
Shooting strategies
- Take up to 250 photos
- Make sure overlap is > 50%
- Take photos every 5 -10°
- Don´t use flash
- Keep zoom constant
- Shoot at 2-3 different heights
- Avoid moving objects
- Use rich background
