- Open RD-M1 Collect
- Select File menu
- Select Surface Clearance

- Traffic
- Barriers
- Curbs
- Tall vegetation

Enter Data Location directory
- Select … to browse

Enter Clearance Offset value
- Default 0.10 meters
- Select Clear Surface
- Open File Explorer
- Navigate to the surfaceClearance folder as specified in the message
- Select and copy the two files in this folder
- Navigate up one folder
- Rename raw_rdmx.packets adding _original to the end
- Rename raw_rdmx.rdmx adding _original to the end
- Paste copied files from the surfaceClearance folder
- Close File Explorer and RD-M1 Collect
