Overview
- LPS upgrade availabe for the GT-1000 series only.
- Must purchase PN 1015064-07 OAF, LPS Upgrade Kit for GT and receive confirmation.
- No USB dongle is provided.
- GT can be upraded offline or online.
Offline Update Method
Be sure the GT has a fully charged battery.
- Log in to the TSShield website.
- Download the new OAF for the serial number of the specified GT.
- Put the OAF on a USB drive.
- Download the latest SW/FW and put it on a separate USB drive.
Offline Method: Firmware Update
- Insert the firmware USB into the GT.
- Turn on the GT while holding the "light" and "alpha" buttons.
- The firmware will begin to install.
- The GT will reboot.
- Navigate to the GT home screen.
- Click on the Version icon and confirm the version was updated.
(Note: If Basic versions is 1.05EN_01 March 2018 or newer, you can skip this step)
Offline Method: OAF Update
- Insert the OAF USB into the GT.
- Turn on the GT while holding the "light" and "alpha" buttons.
- The OAF will install.
- The GT will reboot.
- Navigate to the GT home screen.
- Click on the Version icon.
- Confirm LPS is now ON.
Offline Method: LPS Software Install
- Repeat the offline firmware update process.
- Now that the LPS OAF is enabled, the LPS software will install also.
- Navigate to the GT home screen. Confirm the LPS_Setup icon is now present.
Online Method: OAF Update
Be sure the GT has a fully charged battery.
- Turn on the GT.
- Navigate to the GT home screen.
- Click Cloud OAF.
- Connect to WLAN or Cellular network.
- Press the ESC key to bring up the Network Check screen.
- Press OK to download and install the OAF.
- The GT will reboot.
- Navigate to the GT home screen.
- Click the Version icon.
- Verify LPS is on.
Online Method: Firmware Update
- Navigate to the GT home screen.
- Press the TSshield icon.
- Connect to WLAN or Cellular1 network.
- Press the ESC key to bring up the Network Check screen.
- Press OK to downlaod and install the firmware and software.
- The GT will reboot.
- Navigate to the GT home screen.
- Verify LPS_Setup icon is present.
- Press the Version icon to verify the update was successful
