Verifying the precise locations of metal elements on the form can be slow, tedious and still hard to get exact. But with this solution, all that time and pain go away. Just set up, connect and touch each point to measure. It's that simple. You can go from point to point to point, with no elapsed time setting up the measurement. And the results are millimeter-accurate.

Easy to Get Started

Set Up

Set up the instrument over a surveyed point in the plan, and let it self-level.

Connect

Load the plan into the mobile app from the online MAGNET Enterprise account, and activate the link between the instrument and the 360-degree prism.

Measure

Set the tip of the prism pole at each point, and level up the pole. The instrument automatically follows the prism, and is constantly measuring and relaying that measurement back to the app.

Using a reflectorless total station is by far the fastest, easiest, safest and most accurate method to assure that your building envelope is going up straight and square. Occupy a position that allows you to measure both base and top of any given structure, and shoot measurements of top and bottom until you get perfect vertical. And you can measure for square as well. Leveling Footings and Forms

A single rotating laser can keep your whole project on the level. Set up in a safe location, and allow the laser to auto-level. Then use the grade rod to measure offsets from that rotating laser reference. Check footing depth as you go, set and check all your forms, and get them millimeter-precise.

Upgrade to a sloping laser for more uses

Upgrade to an RL-200, with either single-slope or dual-slope configuration. The sloping feature will allow you to tackle sloped trenches for sewer, or final grade on areas with mild slopes for drainage, and more. Of course, keep the slope set to zero for foundations and get dead-level every time.
